Car Seat Headrest have announced a new album with two tracks pre-released on bandcamp.

I find myself laying on my back at the cusp of easter weekend, staring at a eucalyptus tree swaying against a grey sky. I’m listening to Drunk Drivers/ Killer Whales and I’m sinking into the sofa at the start of the longest weekend of the year as Will Toledo tells me there is no comfort in responsibility and teaches me the value of self-love with his distinct, resonating delivery.

This is going to be a great weekend. What a treat from car seat headrest. Just over six minutes of nostalgia induced by this track and I’ve listened to it on repeat for half an hour.
Recommended.

Vincent is the second pre-released track, I’ve just found it. Hypnotic intro, I’ll save this one’s angst for a cycling playlist. I’m reminded of Reptilia with horn breakdowns. I hope you like feedback. I do.
